Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology was established in the year 1987 as an Institute of National Importance. The institute has an academic staff of more than 100 personnel. There are over three thousand five hundred students studying in the institute. Mr. Samir Kumar Das is the present Director of the institute. The institute has an urban campus spreaded over 160 acres. The institute offers various undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral programmes or courses to its students. It is considered as one of the youngest National Institute of Technology present in the country.

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology requires qualified Indian nationals for filling up the following vacant faculty positions at the levels of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. The posts of Assistant Professor are also available on contrcat basis for a period of 3 years. Interested candidates are required to ensure their eligibility for the post before applying for it. The vacancies are available in the various departments of the Institute.

1. Recruitment of Professors:
No. of posts: Only 14 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 50 years.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. degree with minimum 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent is required for the post. Candidates should also have experience of atleast 10 years in the field of teaching or research or inductrial experience.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10000.

2. Recruitment of Associate Professors:
No. of posts: Only 34 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 40 years.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. degree with minimum 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent is required for the post. Candidates should also have experience of atleast 6 years in the field of teaching or research or inductrial experience.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 9000.

3. Recruitment of Assistant Professor:
No. of posts: Only 55 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 35 years.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. degree with minimum 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent is required for the post. No experience is required for this post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6000.

4. Recruitment of Assistant Professor (on Contract):
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 35 years.
Educational Qualification: M.Tech or M.Phil. degree with minimum 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent is required for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6000.

Selection Process:

THe final selection of eligible candidates will be made strictly on the basis of the merit list prepared by the institute. The merit list will be prepared depending on the result of the personal interview test with the selection commiittee.
