Profile:
Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi was initially established as College of Engineering in the year 1961. The institute was later declared as an institution of national importance under the Institutes of Technology Act in the year 1963. The institute is determined to provide higher training, research and development in science, engineering and technology in the country. Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is one of the seven Institutes of Technology in the country beside IIT Kanpur, IIt Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati and IIT Roorkee.
Job Profile:
Candidates can apply for the Faculty positions available in all disciplines at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Candidates will have to work as Professor or Associate Professor or Assistant Professor.
Eligibility:
Candidates should not be less the prescribed minimum age limit and also not more than the prescribed maxmimum age limit set for all the three posts.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must posses Post Graduation degree from recognized institute or university. Candidates having experience in the related field will be preffered over others.
No. of posts: Several posts are available for the positions of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor.
Pay Scale:
Professor: Rs.37400-67000 + Grade Pay of Rs.10500
Assocate Professor: Rs.37400-67000 + Grade Pay of Rs.9500
Assistant Professor: Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs.8000
Selection procedure:
The selection procedure for all the three posts available in IIT, Delhi contains Written examination as well as the interview session with the Selection Committee.
