Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya was establihsed in the year 1988 under the Government of India. The vishwavidyalaya comes under the Madhya Pradesh Vidha Sabha Act 13, 1998. The campus of the vishwavidyalaya is spreaded in an area of about 247 acres. The major objective of the vishwavidyalaya is to provide helping hands in the development of the centre of excellence in the arena of Technical education, Resarch and Innovations.

Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalya invites application for the following faculty positions of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Dy. Director Sports. Only eligible candidates should apply and the selected candidates will be recruited in University Teaching Departments/University Institute of Technology, RGPV, Bhopal.

1. Recruitment of Professor:
No. of posts: Only 3 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D degree in the concerned discipline from any recognized university is required for the post. Candidates should possess atleast 13 years of experience in teaching or research field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10000.

2. Recruitment of Associate Professor:
No. of posts: Only 14 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D degree in the concerned discipline from any recognized university is required for the post. Candidates should possess atleast 5 years of experience in teaching or research field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 9000.

3. Recruitment of Assistant Professor:
No. of posts: Only 9 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: B.E. or B.Tech and M.E. or M.Tech degree in the concerned discipline from any recognized university is required for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6000.

4. Recruitment of Dy. Director Sports:
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D degree in Physical Education with atleast 60% marks in aggregate at master’s degree. Candidates should also possess atleast 8 years of experience as University Assistant DPES..
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6000.

Application Fee:

An application fee of Rs. 1000 is need to be submitted by the interested candidates. The application fee must be paid through a demand draft drawn in favour of Registrar, RGPV payable at Bhopal.

How to apply: Duly filled in application form alongwith the other required enclosures must be sent on or before the last date for the reciept of application i.e. 30 June 2011. The demand draft of requisite amount of application fee is also need to be sent in support of the application. The enclosures are need to be sent in an envelope that should be superscribed as “Application for the post of ________________”.
