Rajiv Gandhi University was initially established as Arunachal university in the year 1984. Professor K. C. Belliappa is the Vice Chancellor of the university. The university has a rural campus and is affiliated to University Grants Commission. The university comes under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The university became a central university by an act of parlaiment. The university has various departments under it named Department of Education, Department of English, Department of Hindi, Department of Economics, Department of Political Science, Department of Mass Communication etc.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should be an eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification in the concerned disciplines with minimum of 10 years teaching experience.

2. Recruitment of Associate Professor:

Educational Qualification: Candidates should be an eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification in the concerned disciplines with minimum of 8 years teaching experience.

3. Recruitment of Assistant Professor:

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have a good academic record throughout with atleast 55% marks in aggregate at the master’s degree level. Candidates must also have cleared the NET conducted by UGC, CSIR.

4. Recruitment of Registrar:

Educational Qualification: Master’s degree with atleast 55% marks in aggregate and 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor.

5. Recruitment of Controller of Examination:

6. Recruitment of Internal Audit Officer:
