Profile of the institute: This institute was established on the lines of AIIMS (New Delhi) and Rajiv Gandhi Post Graduate institute of Medical Science. It has a variety of departments and courses to offer. It has excellent facilities which include both education and recreation.
Job profile: The role of the professors will be to guide the students on the right path and provide them with quality knowledge and education. Another responsibility of the professors will be to help students clarify their doubts and also help them in project work.
Eligibility: The age of a professor must not exceed 50 years, the age limit for the post of associate professor is 45 years and for 4the post of assistant professor it is 40 years. However, relaxation will be given as per the govt. rules.
Educational qualification: A candidate must have a post graduation degree of M.D to be eligible for applying for the post of associate professor and must have an experience of 6 years after M.D and minimum four research publications must be indexed in National journals
A candidate must have a PG degree + a 3 year experience from a recognized medical college for the post of assistant professor
A candidate must have a PG degree + a 14 year experience from a recognized college.
For super specialty post a candidate must have a PG degree and a super specialty degree (D.M/M.Ch) with a minimum of 3 year experience for assistant and associate professor and minimum of 7 years experience for the post of professor.
No. of posts: There are 19 posts (for faculty) and 16 for (super specialty faculty) which are divided among various departments.
Pay scale: The pay scale will be as per the revised 6th pay commission and other benefits like accommodation at economical price, LTC, vacations etc will also be given.
Selection procedure: The candidates will be short listed as per their qualifications and then they will be called for the interviews from 01 September 2009.
