Ministry of Commerce & Industry is mainly responsible for administrating the two departments named Department of Commerce and the Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion. Mr. Anand Sharma is the Minister of Commerce and Industry and Mr. Jyotiraditya Madhavrao Scindia is assisting him as a Minister of State for Commerce & Industry. The department of Commerce has been divided into eighteen divisions named Administrative and General Division, Finance Division, Economic Division, Trade Policy Division, Foreign Trade Territorial Division, State Trading & Infrastructure Division, Supply Division and Plantation Division
Job Profile:
Ministry of Commerce & Industry is inviting applications from eligible candidates for filling up the positions of Research Assistant Grade-II. Candidates are required to fullfill all the eligibility conditions set for the specified positions. Uneligible candidates should not apply for the specified position as their applications will not be considered by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry. Candidates should be ready to serve the ministry anywhere in India. Selected candidates will be deputed on the specified position on probation for a period of 2 years.
Eligibility:
Interested candidates should have age less than the prescribed maximum age limit i.e. 28 years as on the closing date for reciept of application. Relaxation in upper age limit will be provided to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Serviceman/PC categories as per the guidelines issued by the Government of India, from time to time.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates are required to have done M.Sc. or B.Sc. in the concerned subject with atleast 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized institute or university. B.Sc. degree is the minimum educational qualification required for applying for the post of Research Assistant Grade-II in Ministry of Commerce & Industry. Candidates must possess the prescribed minimum educational qualification, or else their applications will not be considered.

Plant Physiology (Post Code: CBC-6/006): Only 1 post is available.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get the prescribed amount of salary i.e. Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4600.
Application Fee:
General and OBC categories candidates should submit the prescribed amount of application fee i.e. Rs. 150 only. Canddiates belonging to the SC/ST/Physically Challenged/ Women candidates, are need required to submit any kind of application fee. Candidates should use either a Demand Draft or Indian Postal Order for submitted the application fee. The Demand Draft or Indian Postal Order should be made in favour of COFFEE BOARD GENERAL FUND NON-PLAN ACOOUNT, payable at Bangalore.
Selection Process:
Shortlisted candidates will be called for the personal interview test. Interview call letters will be sent by ordinary post or e-mail to all th eligible or shortlisted candidates. Shortlisted candidates will alsso be allowed to download the call letter from the website of Coffee Board.
