The Central Institute for Research on Buffaloes (CIRB) was established in the year 1985 at Hisar, Haryana. The institute was established under the Government of Haryana. Dr. N. K. Bhattacharya was apoointed as the first Officer on Special Duty in the institute. The major function of the institute is to promote and undertake research on all aspects of buffalo production and also to establish nucleus breeding herd of important buffalo breeds. The research activities in the institute are organized in three divisions i.e. Buffalo Genetics Breeding and Management, Buffalo Nutrition and Buffalo Physiology and Reproduction.

Job Profile:

Candidates can apply for the posts of Research Associates in Central Institute for Research on Buffaloes on temporary basis.

Eligibility:

Candidates should be in between the prescribed age limit set for the posts of Research Associate in Central Institute for Research on Buffaloes.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates are required to have M.Sc. degree in Animal science or Agriculture or Basic Science with atleast two years of experience in the research or teaching for applying for the specified post.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given the prescribed salary of Rs. 17000 per month.
