HAI i finist my 12th and i want to know which course is better bsc in biotechnology or biochemistry and which one of these has good career

Both these field has a very wide career, but it is totally depends on your interest,
just choose according to your choice, But there are vast employment opportunities
for the students of Biochemistry as they can be absorbed in a number of Research Institutions and the students of Biochemistry can work as Scientists, research
officers, research associates, chemical examiners.........

First you think in which field you are interested...Because both the fields are giving good careers...Bsc in biotechnology is a good option and which will give you a bright future later onwards..but Bsc in biochemistry is the best option for now a days..after Bsc you can pursue your further studies in the field(Biochemistry/biotechnology) which will give you the offer to do work in R&D field...So go for the course which you like..Both are giving good careers...

if you want to do bsc then i would suggest to take biochemistry because bsc in biotechnology has no growth. but btech biotechnology has a bright future .in india for btech biotechnology amity university noida is best where students get placement in Germany and japan where biotechnology industries are leading all over the world.

both biotechnology and biochemistry are good options but biotechnology is having more scope for placements so its better go for that.

both the course is very good and job opportunity,

for the biochemistry there is more government job opportunity.

but for the bio technology these is a lot of private job opportunity.

both has equal scope for future as it is a new course .......you can easily become a researcher,biochemicalist ,organic researcher,chemical assistant,

both the options have wide opportunities from job prospects.in biochemistry there are a lot of goverment jobs opportunities.so it will be a better option of the two.but there are lot of opportunities in private companies.so just go for the one you are interested in.

Bio technology has oviously more scope in Todays world as it is a broader concept than bio chemistry...In bio technology you can study bio chemisty also...So no doubt you shoul go for bio technology....

after biotech u can do higher studies like
1.m.tech.
2.mba
etc
the job sector for bio tech r
various biotechnology related power plant .if u do mba then u may get jobs in bank,big corporate office&company.there u will get manager or m.d post.
so take decission & make ur future bright.

Both the subjects are equally good and can offer you a flourishing career. Both the subjects can help you find opportunities in academics, laboratories, research and development etc.After post graduation/PhD you can also work as a scientist.

i found most people think that biochemistry have no more scope than biotechnology.but that view is totally wrong .because bio chem is core subject of whole life science. whatever biotechnology developed is from biochemistry,chemistry.only biochemistry and chemistry develop and give new ideas to biotech. then we use
microbes,plant-part, animal cell and chemicals form them by understanding basic chemistry and biochemistry. so for expertise in biotech it required strong knowledge in chemistry ,(biochemistry& molecular biology) ,microbiology botany ,zoology, engineering science.

Both Biotechnology and Biochemistry field has a very wide career scope.

But it is totally depends on your interest. So choose subject totally as per your interest.

There are vast employment opportunities for the students of Biochemistry in a Research Institutions and the students of Biochemistry can work as Scientists, research officers, research associates, etc..

Other than this Biotechnology also has wide scope but its scope is much more in foreign countries.

hey! i dont know if biochemistry would be the right option for me... i wanted to be a researcher but now i am having second thoughts.. im starting to think that being a researcher is not a good choice..im not interested in being a doctor or an engineer....what are the steps involved in being a researcher and how much time would it take? is it a right career option?

Yes biotech has scope but on the basis of degree in biotech either bsc or msc it is wrong b coz basic of biotech is biochemistry and chemistry gentics bot zoology so there is need of strong hand in these subject so biochemistry cover all these hence more scope
