hello ! i am a biology student . can i choose biotechnoloogy as my career option ? is there any scope for it in india ? pls clear my doubt !

Yes, Biotechnology offers adequate career scope in India. Biotechnology can be opted as a specialization in B.Tech or at B.Sc level. Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), National Brain Research Centre, etc are some of the firms where these candidates can have career opportunities. Central Research Institute for Dry land Agriculture (CRIDA), Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), etc is some other firms where you can try for a job. Engineering/M.Sc graduates in Biotechnology are appointed to the position of ‘Junior Research Fellow’.
