Council of Scientific and Industrial Research was established in the year 1942 as an autonomous body under the Government of India. Prime Minister of India is the chairman of the council. Professor Sameer K. Brahmachari is the Director General of the council. It has a staff of around 17 thousand people. The council is located at Anusandhan Bhawan, Rafi Marg. Application Fee:

Rs. 100 is the amount of application fee that is need to be submitted by General and OBC categories candidates. No fee is to be paid by SC/ST/PH candidates as they are exempt from payment of application fee. The application fee must be submitted through a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director, CEERI payable at Pilani.
