The Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology (IICPT) is a pioneer Research and Development Institute that was established in 1967 as R & D laboratory in the Modern Rice Mill complex of Thanjavur Co-operative Marketing Federation (TCMF). When started, the IICPT was initially known as Paddy Processing Research Centre. IICPT works under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India.

Pay Scale – Principal Scientist - Rs. 37400 - 67000 (Min Rs. 43000) - RGP: Rs. 10000; Senior Scientist - Rs. 15600 - 39100 - (Min. Rs. 22320) - RGP: Rs. 8000; Scientist - Rs. 15600 - 39100 - RGP: Rs. 6000

Eligibility:

Age criteria – Principal Scientist - Not exceeding 50 yrs; Senior Scientist - Not exceeding 45 yrs; Scientist - Not exceeding 30 yrs, 33 yrs for PhD holders
