Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology shortly called, as SLIET is an autonomous institution under Ministry Of Human Resource and Development (MHRD). The institution offers graduate, postgraduate, certificate and diploma courses in various technical areas. There exist only 30 seats for each of the certificate level courses offered by the institute. The admission to the certificate courses is done through certain entrance exams conducted at national level. The list of the certificate courses offered by SLIET is mentioned below.

Structure of SLIET Certificate Courses Entrance Test

There will be two papers for the entrance test. The time duration allotted for the completion of each of the papers is two hours. There will be 100 objective type questions for each paper and the total marks awarded for each paper is 100.

Eligibility Criteria

Those who have completed their matriculation are eligible for this two-year certificate course. The qualification must be obtained from any of the recognized Boards across the country. The candidate should have studied English, Mathematics and Science as subjects in 10th class.

How to Apply?

The application fee for SLIET entrance exam is Rs. 500/- . This can be paid in the form of DD payable at Longowal/Sangrur. The DD must be taken in the name of Director, SLIET. This should be taken preferably from Oriental Bank of Commerce or Central Bank of India or Punjab National Bank or State Bank of India. Once the fee is remitted, the candidate can start with the application process. The application can be obtained from the official website of SLIET. Filled up application must be posted to the end before lastdate.

How to fill the Form?

The form must be filled by following the guidelines given in the exam notification. The notification can be collected from the official portal of SLIET. After completing the application, the same must be posted to the address before final date. The candidate should affix photographs as well as DD along with the application.
