Sona College of Technology, Salem is affiliated to Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore. It is approved by the norms of AICTE, New Delhi and has won the NBA accreditation. Admission Procedure:
Sona College of Technology admits students to B.E. and M.E. not based on the Common Entrance Exam conducted by the Government. So, the students need not write any entrance test for seeking admission here. The admission is based on the marks obtained in higher secondary grade only.
Eligibility:
For all Bachelor of Engineering courses, the essential qualification needed is a pass in higher secondary from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their subjects. For getting admission directly in Second year (Lateral entry) the candidates should have passed B.Sc. in Mathematics but should get through the entrance test conducted by the college.
