Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board came into existence on the occassion of the 50th Anniversary year of the independence of the country. The selection board was established by the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi. The major objective behind the establishment of the board was to have aresponsible body for making recruitment of capable, competent and highly skilled individuals or persons through the means of conducting written tests and personal interviews sessions.

Job Profile:

Eligible Indian Nationals are invited to apply for the vacant Group B posts of Special Educator (Primary) (Non Gazetted Ministerial posts) in Municipal Council of Delhi. Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board will make the recruitment of eligible and suitable candidates on the specified position through the conduct of a Written Examination followed by an Interview Test.

Eligibility:

The prescribed maximum age limit set for the post of Special Educator (Primary) in Municipal Council of Delhi is 30 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided to the candidates belonging to reserved categories. Relaxation in the maximum age limit will be provided as per the rules and regulations of Government of India only.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates are required to possess the minimum educational qualification set for the post i.e. candidates should have passed Senior Secondary or Intermediate or its equivalent from a recognized board. Besides this, candidates should also possess minimum two years Diploma or Certificate course in ETE or JBT or equivalent from a recognized institute. Candidates should have passed the SeniorSecondary examination with Hindi and English as main subjects.

Vacancies for Scheduled Caste candidates: 261 posts are available.
Vacancies for Physically Handicapped candidates: 52 posts are available.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given the prescribed amount of salary i.e. Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

Application Fee:

Interested candidates should pay the application fee of Rs. 100 for applying for the post of Special Educator (Primary) in MCD. The payment of application fee is to be done in the form of Indian Postal Order only. The Indian Postal Order must be made in favour of the Secretary, DSSSB payable at Delhi.

Selection Process:

Selection Process is comprises of two stages i.e. Written Examination and Interview Test. The written examination is also divided into two parts i.e. Part I Preliminary Examination of objective type and Part II Main Examination of descriptive type.

How to apply: Complete application form should be sent alongwith two recent passport size coloured photographs and copies of relevant certificates (duly attested by Gazetted Officer) and IPO in an envelope only. Candidates should also send a self addressed envelope of 12*25 cm size with postage stamp of Rs. 5 affixed on it and one post card bearing postal stamp of Rs. 6. The envelope should reach to the below mentioned address on or before the last date.
