SRGP Gujarati Professional Institute also called as Shri Gujarati Samaj Institute of Professional Studies came into existence in the year 2001. The institute is offering more importance to courses pertaining to management and information technology and it also facilitates to accommodate different branches of professional education courses that will be introduced in the future. Intake capacity and course duration:

The course duration for both the UG courses and MCA is three years, while for MBA alone it is two years. The institute is permitted to admit 150 students for BCA, 300 for BBA, 120 for MCA and 90 students per year for MBA course respectively.

Eligibility for admission:

For the UG courses, candidates must have completed their 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 50% of marks and only for BCA course, they should have learnt mathematics as one of the subjects at the higher secondary level. For admission to the MCA course, candidates must be BCA graduates or they must have completed their graduation in any discipline with mathematics as a subject at the 10+2 level. For BBA course, candidates must have completed their degree course in any discipline with not less than 50% of marks.

Admission Procedure:

For MCA course, candidates are admitted based on their score in the Pre MCA test and counseling organized by Directorate of Technical Education. For MBA course, admission of candidates is done based on their performance in the pre MBA test/MET test and counseling. For the BBA and BCA courses, admission is done on merit basis as per the marks secured by the students in the qualifying examination.
