This college belongs to the reputed Sri Ramakrishna Mission which was started in 1964 in Coimbatore district of Tamilnadu. It has been awarded Autonomous status by the University Grants Commission in the year 1981. It has also won the accreditation from NAAC at B+ Grade.

The courses offered in this college are now affiliated to Bharthiar University. It is men’s college offering high quality education with moral values to all of its students. Sri Ramakrishna Mission also manages a teachers training college, a polytechnic institute, and an institute for agriculture and rural development, and an institute for imparting industrial training.

Apart from these it also maintains a physical education institute and a college for education at the Coimbatore campus itself. The entire educational institutions are spread over huge 300 acres of land in a serene atmosphere.

Rules and Regulations:

Strict discipline and decorum is maintained in the college premises. All the students are expected to be punctual to the classes. They should wear the prescribed uniform of white shirt and white dhoti suitable for Tamil culture. Even the students are encouraged to take part in communal activities for which internal assessment is given.

Admission is open to all the students at UG level, until the vacancy is filled.
