St.Teresa’s College is one of the oldest commerce colleges of India situated in the heart of the city of Cochin. The college was established in the year 1925 and in this long duration the college has earned a reputed place and also contributed in the development of the education of women in Kerala. This College was the second women’s college in Kerala and first in Cochin and offers a number of bachelor and master courses in arts, science and commerce to the students. The college is under the University of Mahatma Gandhi.

Infrastructure:

This college is situated in two different campus separated by a distance of half a kilometer. Both the college campuses are built up in an area of 3 acres of space. The campus provides well furnished auditoriums, conference halls, audio-visual room, a health club, a computer centre, hostels, class rooms and research consultation center. The campus also has various sports ground and basket ball courts to its students in order to enhance their physical fitness.

Courses Offered:

The main courses offered by this college ar: B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, M.A. and M.Sc. in different stream.

Admission Procedure:

The candidates applying for these courses first need to issue an application form from the campus office. The candidates also have to face an interview and also have to submit the following documents: Original Marks sheet of Qualifying Examinations, T.C Original and copy, Conduct certificate (Original), extra certificates.

Placements:

The students are securing jobs in national and multinational companies in high posts. The students are well trained before passing out from this college in order to face the present situation.
