High Court of Judicature of Allahabad also called as Allahabad High Court came into existence in the year 1950 and the court has its jurisdiction in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The court hold the pride of being the first high court to be established in the country. The court is authorized by the Constitution of India and decisions of the court is appealed to the Supreme Court of India if required.

Recruitment by High Court of Judicature at Allahabad:

Allahabad High Court has called for applications from eligible candidates for the position of System Assistants to work at Allahabad High Court and the District courts in the state of Uttar Pradesh under E-Court Project on contract basis. Here are the details regarding the notification issued by the court in this regard:

Pay Brand: Appointed candidates will get a fixed monthly salary of Rs.6800 per month.

Eligibility requirements:

Educational qualification:

Candidates must have completed intermediate of higher secondary with not less than one year diploma course in information technology or computer science or equivalent from an institution recognized by the government with not less than 50% of aggregate marks or equivalent grade with good knowledge of troubleshooting and maintenance of software network/computer hardware.

Age: Minimum age limit is 21 years and maximum age limit is 35 years as on the 1st of July 2011.

Process of recruitment:

Candidates Short-listed should appear for written test and interview to be held on 26th of November. When coming for the test interview, candidates should bring print out of their online application, two color photos, testimonials and original mark sheets. List of eligible candidates will be published on the official website of high court of Allahabad in the 3rd Week of November 2011.

Job Responsibilities:

Candidates appointed for the position of System Assistant, will be responsible for assisting system officer in troubleshooting and maintenance of ICT infrastructures like internet connectivity, LAN, printers, Scanners, laptops, computers and services and communication equipment like  modems, switches, etc… in coordination with the concerned service providers.
