Qualification:

The candidates appearing for this examination should hold a pass certificate of 10 and 10+2 under any recognized board of the country and should have studied Physics and mathematics as a subject in 10+2 as well as in graduation. The missing of any of these criteria will not allow the candidate to sit for this test.

Score Calculation:

One mark is awarded for a correct answer. Candidates are requested to mark the most appropriate answer for the given question. In case of wrong answer, one third of the marks pof that quest is deducted from the final score.

Mode of Exam:

Paper Format:

University of Kashmir-Faculty of Physical and Material Science Test- Physics Paper contains 60 objective type questions which are MCQs (multiple choice questions have one correct answer). Each question carries one mark and marks are awarded only for right answer or appropriate choice of answer. Answer should be marked on a specially designed answer sheet the candidates will get inside the examination hall. Marking more than one answer for a single question will be marked as wrong and students won’t be awarded any marks for that particular answer.

Time allotted:

The time allotted for this exam is 2 hours.
