Central University of Karnataka was etablished under the Government of India. The university actually came into existence as one of the 16 new central universities established by the Government of India. The university was established during the UGC XI Plan period. Addressing to the concern of equity and access, was one of the main aim behind its establishment. The university has its temporary campus located at Gulbarga University campus. Government of Karnataka state has handed over 621 acres of land at Kadaganchi Suntanur Village to the university.

Job Profile:

Central University of Karnataka is appointing eligible and qualified candidates on the following positions of Upper Division Clerk, Lower Division Clerk, Technical Assistant, Caretaker, Driver and Cook. Candidates are required to ensure their eligibility for the desired post before applying for it.

1. Recruitment of Technical Assistant:
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Age Limit: Upper age limit is 30 years.
Educational Qualification: B.Sc. or 3 years of Diploma in the relevant field. Candidates should also possess good working knwoledge of computer application.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2800.

2. Recruitment of Upper Division Clerk:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Age Limit: Upper age limit is 27 years.
Educational Qualification: Graduate degree or equivalent with atleast 3 years of experience as Junior Office Assistant in central or state universities. Good working knwoledge of computer applications is must.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.

3. Recruitment of Lower Division Clerk:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Age Limit: Upper age limit is 27 years.
Educational Qualification: 10+2 passed or equivalent from a recognized board with a typing speed of 30 words per minute in English. Good working knwoledge of compter applications, is also desirable for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1900.

4. Recruitment of Caretaker:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Age Limit: Upper age limit is 27 years.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent from recognized board. Candidates should also possess experience of maintenance including sanitation and security.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1900.

5. Recruitment of Driver:
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Age Limit: Upper age limit is 27 years.
Educational Qualification: SSC passed with valid driving license for light or medium vehicles. Candidates must possess atleast 3 years experience in relevant field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1900.

6. Recruitment of Cook:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Age Limit: Upper age limit is 30 years.
Educational Qualification: SSC passed or equivalent certificate with atleast 3 years of experience in the Kitchen of Hostel or Canteen or Guest House.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1900.
