The Central University of Rajasthan was established in the year 2009 by the Act No. 25 of Parliament. Government of India is offering funds for the functioning of the Central University of Rajasthan. Prof. M. M Salunkhe was appointed as the first Vice Chancellor of the University by Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil.
