Hi i am so crazy abt CBI, i am a B.com graduate and want to get into cbi police

As per my knowledge CBI department conduct its own exam and the eligibility criteria say that a candidate should have maths and physics subject at 12th level or at degree level. So you are not eligible for the exam.

CBI has the many Divisions like:

1. Anti Corruption Division
2. Economic Offences Division
3. Special Crimes Division
4. Administration Division
6. Policy & Coordination Division

As a BCom graduate you are eligible to join CBI. But you have not mentioned in which division you would like to work. You should Visit the recruitment section on central bureau of investigation website www.cbi.gov.in for current job vacancies.

CBI - Central Bureau of Investigation

To join as CBI officer you need to appear for Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam conducted by SSC(Staff selection committee).

* Candidates should have a graduation from a recognized university.
* The age limit must be within 21 to 27 for general category.
* The age limit must be up to 35 years for SC/ST candidates.
* The age limit must be up to 33 years for OBC candidates.

Procedure:

* Written exam
* Interview
* Medical exam

Attempts:

For General category - 4 attempts.
For SC/ST category - No limit
For OBC category - 7 attempts

• A candidate Should have completed their Graduation in Any Stream with at least 55% from Recognize Universities.
  
• Age Limit should Not exist 25 years for General Category. there is a relaxation is available for SC/ST category up to upper Age + 5 years.
