The PSG Institute of Management is situated in Coimbatore. It is accredited by Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs and is the first in India. It was established in the year 1971 and has been imparting quality education since 40 years. The full existence came in the year 1994.
Campus
The infrastructure and the campus of the institute is simply awesome. It has got the best of facilities and the environment of the campus is set in such a way that the studies become very comfortable to conduct. The reception and the convention halls and the board rooms and the laboratories are all air conditioned and the ambience is set in such a way to give maximum exposure to every student. Apart from this there is also a beautiful cafeteria and a recreation room for the students.
Courses Offered
The PSG Institute of Management offers post graduate degrees in business administration and also in insurance and international business management. The courses are based on the trimester basis. There is the Masters of Business Administration programme that is offered by the institute. It is the major course that is offered by the institute and is known to be one of the best in this course.
Admission Procedure
The admission to the institute is based on the merit obtained in the national level examination that is the CAT and other examinations. There are also interviews that take place to get the student admitted in the campus itself.
Placements
The placement cell of the institute works all the time for the placement of the students and holds a very good record as companies like Infosys, Mahindra and Mahindra, ICICI Bank, Kotak Securities, Bank of India, and other major companies and banks recruit students to their family.
