Division of paper:

The nursing principles and practice question is set such that the 75 marks are distributed in three questions, with each question having a subpart. These questions are set such that the student is examined on his/her ability to react in a practical situation, such that is enables the student to use this knowledge when he/she will be working in the medical environment.

The Paper Pattern and marking scheme:

The question paper basically has 3 types of answers, namely essay type answers carrying 15 marks, short notes type answers carrying 5 marks, and short answers of two marks each. This paper is set such that the student has two write two essay type answers, 5 short notes and the remaining 20 marks are allotted to ten short answers of two marks each. The student is to answer all questions to secure the best marks.
