Bhojia Dental College & Hospital is an autonomous dental institution situated in the Solan city of the Himachal Pradesh State. The college works under the control of the charitable organization called Bhojia Charitable Trust for Science Research & Social Welfare.

The college is recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI), Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Department of Health. The college is affiliated to the Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla.

Courses offered:

The Bhojia Dental College & Hospital offers the following undergraduate, post graduate and diploma courses in the field of dental science:

The undergraduate course available in the college is BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery). The duration of the course is 5 years.

The post graduate degree courses available in the college are MDS (Mater of Dental Surgery) in Prosthodontics,  and MDS (Master of Dental Surgery) in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics. The duration of the courses is 3 years.

The diploma courses available in the college are  Dental Hygienist Course, and Dental Mechanic Course. The duration of the courses is 2 years.

Eligibility criteria for getting admission:

The candidates, who have passed 10+2 examination in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects with at least 50% marks (40% for SC/ST), are eligible to apply for the BDS course. They must get qualified in the Combined Entrance Test (CPMT) conducted by the Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla in order to get admission for the BDS course in the college.

The candidates, who have passed BDS degree, are eligible to apply for the MDS course. The college admits candidates for the MDS course based on the rules & norms of the Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla or the Dental Council of India, New Delhi.

The candidates,  who have passed 10+2 examination with science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks (40% for SC/ST), are eligible to apply for the diploma courses. The college admits candidates for the diploma courses based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
