Solan Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital (SHMCH) was established during the year  2002-2003. The college is affiliated to the Himachal Pradesh University and it is approved by the Government of Himachal Pradesh. The BHMS course offered by the college is recognized by the Department of AYUSH coming under the Health and Family Welfare Ministry of the Indian Government and it is also approved by the Central Council of Homeopathy.

Eligibility criteria for getting admission:

Candidates who have passed intermediate examination (with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects) with at least 45% marks are eligible to apply for the BHMS course. They must get qualified in the HPCPMT Exam followed by an interview, in order to get admission for the BHMS course.
