How to fill C-DAC Common Entrance Test Forms?
The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing focuses in the area of research and development of Information Technology. This institute conducts several diploma courses in Advanced Business computing, System Software Design and Embedded System design. The eligible candidates are selected to these courses through Common Entrance Test conducted for aspirants across the country. The test is conducted on an annual basis for the selection of the qualified candidates.
Instructions to be followed for filling in form
- The application form for Common Entrance Test that is being conducted by the C-DAC has to be filled online at http://acts.cdac.in.
- Candidates have to pay an amount of Rs 500/- as the registration fees and it should be drawn in favour of the ‘C-DAC, ACTS’ payable at Pune.
- Candidates have to specify the details on the reverse side of the demand draft such as the course opted, registration ID as well as the name of the student.
- The students can also fill the application forms after procuring it from the C-DAC centre. They have to fill up this printed application form. Attach a demand draft of Rs 600/- along with the form as the registration fees for the Common Entrance Test (CET).
- They should also affix a recent colored passport size photograph on the space provided in the application. The duly filled application forms have to be submitted in the nearest training centre.
Exemptions to be taken care while filling in form
- The aspirants have to upload the photograph in the C-DAC website as it is needed for the processing of the admit cards.
- Those candidates those who are filling the application forms manually have to submit a passport size photograph.
- Once the photographs have been uploaded in the website of the institute, it cannot be changed under any circumstances.
- The uploading of the photograph is mandatory as it is used in the processing of the application form for the common entrance test. The same photograph will be used in the identity and DACA certificate if the candidate has qualified for pursuing the course.
Last date for receipt of applications
The application forms for the C-DAC Common Entrance Test should be submitted before the second week of January. The candidates those who wish to change the examination centers have to submit the application form before the third week of January.
Acknowledgement of exam application form
Candidates can download the admit cards from the official website of the institute soon after the submission of the application forms. If the candidate cannot find the admit card in the website, they have to get in touch with the Office of the Registrar immediately.

sir, i am in final year of engineering . i want to take admission for C-DAC .
my last semister exam will be in march 2014. so ,when should i fill online exam form ,and what is the procedure.please give me information in detail, also benefits of this cource. i want to take admission immidiately after my last engineering exam.
