Recruitment to the post of Village Revenue Officers as well as Village Revenue Assistant in Andhra Pradesh is carried out on the basis of written examination conducted by the State government. Candidates who have completed Higher Secondary course are eligible to apply for Village Revenue Officer test and matriculation is the eligibility criterion for the post of Village Revenue Assistant. Examination is conducted online.   Eligibility Criterion

Higher Secondary education in any stream conducted by Andhra Pradesh State Board of Intermediate Education is the minimum educational qualification for the post of Village Revenue Officers. Candidates should have completed at least 18 years of age at the time of application. Upper age limit for application is 34 years. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe can have age relaxation up to 5 years as per the norms issued by Government of India.

Matriculation under Andhra Pradesh State Board of Secondary Education is the required educational qualification for the post of Village Revenue Assistants. Minimum age limit is 18 years. Upper age limit for eligibility is 35 years. Reserved category candidates can seek relaxation up to 5 years in upper age limit.

Exam Pattern

Examination will be conducted online. Candidates can expect multiple choice objective type questions in the examination. There will be a maximum of 100 questions in this exam. Each question carries one mark. Of these 60 questions will be asked from General Studies. Thirty questions will be asked from Arithmetical Skills. Remaining 10 questions will be asked to evaluate the logical skills of candidates. There will be no negative marking in this examination. Medium of instruction will be in English language. Maximum time allotted for answering all the questions is two hours.

Application Procedure

Eligible and desirous candidates are required to apply from the official website of the commission. They will have to register in the website for having a personal account. Such candidates will receive unique user id and password. Candidates are required to pay Rs.30/- as examination fee. Candidates will have to provide all academic details and details regarding fee payment in online application form. Candidates who have successfully submitted the online application form will get confirmation message via email. Those who have successfully paid the examination fee will receive MBC code and password. They can log in with this data for online examination. Candidates can log in to the exam at any time within the stipulated period.
