Akshaya College of Education is run by the Arumuga Nadar Sakkarai Thaiammal Educational Trust and the college is offering teacher education course with approval from the Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University located at the city of Chennai.

Course Details:

Akshaya College of Education is offering Bachelor of Education course, whose duration is one year. The college is a co-education institution with an intake capacity of 100 students for the teacher education course offered by it.

Educational Requirement:

Candidates with not less than 50% of marks at the under-graduation/post graduation level or candidates with any other equivalent qualification are eligible for admission to the bachelor of education course offered by the Akshaya College of Education.

Reservation of Seats:

The relaxation of qualifying marks and the reservation of seats in the case of candidates falling under reserved category will be followed by the college according to the rules and norms laid by the Government of Tamil Nadu from time to time.

Some of these facilities are  physical education lab, library & reading room, two computer laboratories, ICT/ET laboratory, social science lab, mathematics lab, work experience lab, psychology lab, physical science lab, biology lab and multipurpose hall with a capacity to accommodate 200 students used for the purpose of conducting seminars and other cultural activities.
