Union Public Service Commission was established 84 years ago on October 1, 1926. The commission is a constitutional body in India which conducts examinations for making recruitment to the various civil services of India. The first public service commission was actually established on October 1, 1926 by the then British Indian Government. But the commission failed to satisfy the demands of Indian Political parties of that time. The commission consists of a chairman and other members and the appointment of all theses posts is made or decided by President of India only.

Union Public Service Commission is making recruitment of the eligible candidates on the following posts in various Ministeries and Departments of Government of India.

In Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Central Health Service:

1. Recruitment of Specialist Grade-II (Medicine):
No. of posts: Only 8 posts are available.

In Directorate of Forensic Science, Ministry of Home Affairs:

2. Recruitment of Assistant Director (Ballistics):
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.

3. Recruitment of Assistant Director (Chemistry):
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.

In Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise, Development Organisation Directorate of Forensic Science, Ministry of Home Affaisr:

4. Recruitment of Assistant Director Grade-II (Chemical):
No. of posts: Only 5 posts are available.

Application Fee:

Application fee payable by General category candidates is Rs. 50 while SC/ST/PH/Women candidates are exempted from paying this fee. The payment is to be made in the shape of Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only.

Selection Process:

The process of the selection of candidates consists of a personal interview test only. This interview test will be held on specified date. Only eligible candidates will be allowed to face the interview test. The candidates will be shortlisted depending on their application and educational qualification.
