Bachelor of Computer Application: BCA Course Details
BCA is a graduation program in the Computer Application field. The program duration is 3 years. BCA is a shortened from of Bachelor of Computer Applications. There are 6 semesters in the BCA program.

Eligibility Criteria for BCA

However, many of the institutes only ask for good percentage of marks achieved by the students in their Higher Secondary Examination. BCA Entrance Exam Pattern
The candidates need to qualify the entrance test by scoring good marks. The Entrance Exam contains mostly multiple-choice questions. Every question carries four options for answers. The candidate’s will have to select the right one. The entrance test duration is 2 hours. Questions are asked from topics like English and Numerical and Data Analysis. In addition, some other topics covered are General knowledge, Reasoning & Intelligence etc.

BCA Course Evaluation
The BCA course contains 6 semesters. The program lasts for three years. Each year includes two semesters. The course includes practical tests and project work. The oral presentation will be for a total of 20 marks and written exam of 80 marks. The main exam is divided into 3 Parts: In order to pass in the test a student has to obtain minimum 40 marks out of 100) in each course and 50 % in aggregate. The class will be granted to the student on the basis of aggregate marks attained by him for all the 3 years Examination.
