University of Kashmir is a university in Jammu and Kashmir which was bifurcated from University of Jammu and Kashmir in the year 1969. Allotment to these seats will be based on the score obtained in the lateral entry entrance test conducted by Kashmir University. Three free seats will be also provided by this university for the B.Tech course in Computer Science and Engineering through lateral entry scheme.

Applicants should submit their applications within stipulated date along with the Certificates of the qualifying exam, Domicile Certificate and two copies of passport size photographs attested by Gazetted Officer. Application fee for this lateral entry entrance test should be paid in the form of demand draft taken in the favor of the Dean Academic Affairs, University of Kashmir. Demand Draft of Rs. 400/- should be sent along with the application to the Dean Academic Affairs, University of Kashmir. It should be payable at Jammu and Kashmir Bank, Hazratbal.
