Examiner of Patents and Designs, Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion
Profile:
Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion was established in the year 1995 under the Government of India. After the merger of Department of Industrial Development, it was reconstituted in the year 2000. The major function of the department is to formulate and implement the industrial policy and stratigies for indutrial development in conformity. The department has the objective of formulating the foreign direct investment policy and promotion of FDI.
Job Profile:
Candidates are invited to apply for posts of Examiner of Patents and Designs in Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion.
Eligibility:
Candidates should not be more than 35 years of age as on closing date of the applications.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates are required to attain the Master’s degree in Physics/Chemistry/Bio-technology/Bio-Physics/Microbiology from any recognized institute or university.
No. of posts: Total 257 posts are available for the specified post.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given the prescribed amount of salary i.e. Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.
Selection Process:
The selection procedure for the candidates consists of a written test that will be held on 2 January 2011 followed by a personal interview test.

hello saaya are you speaking about patent examiner result or patent agents exam?
because i checked the DIPP webisite in the patents section but it was that of Patent agents only. But we are interested in patent examiner results. are they same? If so the serial numbers are completely different? Further patent examiners did not take any viva voce which is included in that result.
