Fee details in Silicone Institute of Technology

The course fee for the Bachelor of Technology programmes is Rs 65,000 per year. All the different branches of B. Tech offered in SIT like Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Information Technology and Applied Electronics and Instrumentation, each with an intake of 60 students, has this course fee common for all streams. The four year B. Tech programmes is expected to cost a total of Rs 2, 60,000.

The Master of Technology programme has a course fee of Rs 71,500 per year. The fee is roughly 10% more than the course fee of Bachelor’s programme. The Master of Computer Application course (MCA) has a course fee of around Rs 50,000 per year.

The university fee is around Rs 4500. This includes the examination fee, registration fee etc. Silicon Institute of Technology also specifies hostel fee and fee concerning related aspects. The hostel fee per year is fixed at Rs 14,400. Additional fee of Rs 3,600 is to be paid towards electricity charges and water charges. This additional fee also includes maintenance charges per annum. Mess fee is calculated on actual cost basis. A meal costs between Rs 15 to Rs 25. Transportation fee depends on the distance of travel. The minimum fee is fixed at Rs 7,000 per year.
