how girls can join army?

Yes of course, you are eligible to take the NDA entrance examination. The minimum qualification for appearing the NDA entrance test is plus two. For commerce student can apply only for Army wing, science students with physics, chemistry and maths can apply any field of the academy. The minimum age limit required is 16 ½. The eligible candidate under 19 ½ can also take NDA examination. According to your date of Birth you have chances till 2014. There are also some physical standards for any applicants of NDA. The candidate should have minimum height of 152cm with weight 42.5 kg. You can apply to the academy when the official announcement for the exam will come in the Employment news or dailies.

no she will not be eligible as there is no entry of girls through nda exam.
She can appear for cds after doing graduation

i completed my graduation (B.sc biotechnology) in 2011. is their any scope for me in Indian defense services . if yes plz tell me about procedure?????????

Girls are not allowed in NDA exam.
So do not worry that if girls are interested to join Defence then you go for give exam like
CDS,UES,etc.

Criteria for NDA exam:-


*Candidate minimum pass 12th science and math,physics,chemistry as subject of 12th science
*Age- 16.5 to 19 years
age relax on the basis of govt.rules.

*Candidate must be physically fit.
Only MEN candidates are allowed.

NDA exam is conducted by UPSC.

Eligibility Criteria For NDA

In order to appear for the UPSC conducted NDA (National Defence Academy) Exam..you need to fulfill the following minimum qualifications first :-

1) You should be within the age limit of 16.5 - 19 years

2) You should have passed out your 12th (with Physics,Chemistry and Maths as your subjects in 12th if you want to join Air Force or Navy)

3) You should be a non-married male for appearing in this exam..

So,i am really sorry but girls cannot apply for the NDA exams..it is meant only for the unmarried males..

but in case you want to join the Indian Armed Forces then you can appear for the CDS (Combined Defence Services) exam after the completion of your graduation..

Eligibility Criteria for CDS

1) You should be a graduate from a recognized university..

2) You should be within the age limit of 19-23 years

National Defense Academy (NDA) exam is conducted by upsc twice in a year to intake qualified Candidate for different department in Defense service like Indian Airforce, Indian Navy,Indian Army etc.

Eligibility criteria for NDA-I/NDA-II exam:
Education qualification: Minimum candidate should complete 12th class with PCM stream.
Age Limit: Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

I am sorry but girls are not eligible for this NDA I or II.

But yeah, girls have a special entry in the Army wing. So for that, your sister must be a graduate in any discipline and sit the respective test. If she clears, then she has to go through a medical check up and SSB interview, where group discussion and personal interview takes place.

If she goes through that, she would become a part of the Indian Army

Girls are not eligible for NDA..! But if you want to go for defense services being a girl then you can go via CDSE ...!
I will provide you both exam details..!

NDA Eligibility:

You must be an Indian
Your age must be between 16.5 to 19years.
You should be Unmarried male
You must be PHYSICALLY FIT.
You have to complete your Inter from any recognized University of India

CDSE Eligibility:

For Officers Training Academy(OTA) - Male/ Female candidates (married or unmarried) between 19-25 years.
For OTA, you must have any degree from any recognized University.

CDSE Syllabus:

English:
It includes;
This section deals on words, grammar and usage, structure of English language etc.

General Knowledge:
It includes;
General Knowledge, including knowledge of current events of everyday observation, History of India, geography etc.

Elementary Mathematics:
It includes;
Arithmetic, Unitary method, Elementary Number Theory, Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry and Mensuration etc.

CDSE selection process is of 3 stages:
1. Written Exam
2. SSB(Services Selection Board) Interview
3. Medical Test


CDS I Exam:

Notification release Date: 29th Oct'2011

Last date to apply: 28th Nov'2011

Examination Date: 12thFeb'2012

CDS II Exam:

The Date of exam: 18th sept'2012

The Date of Notification: 30th April'2012

The Last date of Applications: 30th May'2012

Girls are not eligible for NDA exam.It is only for boys. But there are some other exam for girls to join defence services. You can apply for Combined defense service Exam (CDS).

Criteria

Graduation with 60 % marks from recognized university or College
Age should be 19 to 25
Height 152 cm minimum
Unmarried
Citizen of India

Besides it you can also apply for SSC(Short service commission),UES( University Entry Scheme),TES(Technical Entry Scheme).

but if you want to join army then you can do so by appearing for women special entry ......all you need to do is to have a first class graduation.....

I am sorry to say that girl are not eligible for N.D.A exam.
Only married male is eligible for N.D.A exam.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

If you want to join Indian Army then you can apply after passing graduation with any stream after that you have to qualify the C.D.S exam.

C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

The age limit for C.D.S exam is 19-25 year.

NDA exams are conducted twice in a year named NDA 1 & NDA 2 by UPSC.

I am sorry to say but your sister cannot give the exam.
Not only this year but any year.
Actually NDA is an exam for which only unmarried boys are eligible.
If a women wants to enter defence then she must give the SSC entrance exam.
Thus I would suggest your sister to take the same path.

Sorry, NDA examination is only for the male candidate. Female candidates are not eligible for the NDA examination.
