im a commerce student nd rightnw pursuing gruduation(2yr.) frm delhi university as a correspondence student and apart frm this, im doing industrial accounting nd its almost about to finish ...so im planning to move towards CS ...tell me ,tht the procedure of CS is same as CA ???

Completed MBA in 2009. Shall i go for CS?
If so how to proceed?
Is it mandatory to complete all the 3 levels? How long it will take to completed all the 3 levels?

MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY TO JOIN COMPANY SECRETARY COURSE

10+2 passed any stream (art, science, commerce) or equivalent qualification.
or
if you are graduate you need not to clear the first stage of the company secretary course.

1,FOUNDATION
DURATION - minimum - 8 MONTHS
fee- 3600/-

2,EXECUTIVE
fee - 7000/-
DURATION - minimum - 9 MONTHS

3,PROFESSIONAL
fee - 7750
DURATION - minimum - not more than one year.

Admission is open though out the year.examination are held twice a year in june and december.

It is not a regular course and can be done from anywhere from INDIA.

I have completed my BBA in 2007 and have a job experience of 5 yrs. I am working as Team Leader in BNY Mellon. I wish to apply CS, can i appear for Intermediate and final course however i would not be able to go for management training. Will that be fine. Will I still be called as CS if i clear all exams. BNY Mellon is a bank of new york and it is a financial bank (custody). Can i practice in my own company after i clear my exams???

The registration for the course remains open throughout the year.

Foundation Program
Executive Program and
Professional Program.

12th pass students can take admission in Foundation program and after passing
Foundation Program, admission in further programs is possible.
One can take admission in Executive Program without passing Foundation Program
is he/she has completed graduation.

Eligibility for Company Secretary Courses:A candidate needs to clear 3 stages to qualify as Company Secretary and these are:
Foundation Course
Intermediate Course
Final Course


These are the three levels included in the courses on company secretaryship. The details are as follows:

The minimum eligibility to gain entry in the Foundation Course is a pass in 10+2 examination or its equivalent in any stream.
