I had cleared CS Intermediate exam in 1997. I wish to continue my CS once again .What is the procedure? Do I have to take a new admission or am I eligible for De novo admission?

There are many students which has the same query as you have and by answering this i will try to solve all the queries in one answer only.

CS is a course which has gaining popularity day by day. Lots of CS are required in today's industry and that is why this course has become the first choice among all commerce students. CS stands for company secretory course. It is a course which has 3 phased to be cleared, Which are as follows :-

1. Foundation
2. Intermediate
3. Finals

Every student who is 12th pass can apply for the course. There is no fix duration of the course and hence its all depend upon the caliber of the candidate. If a student is good enough and work hard then he can clear the whole course in one attempt also then it will take 3.5 years to clear the whole course. But remember every single failure will increase this duration with 6 months so only hard working students should go for such type of courses.

All B.com graduate can also go for the course if they have more then 60% and if you belong to some other stream then 55% are enough to get admission in the course.

CS stands for Company Secretary.

CS has three stages:

>>CS Foundation Courses
>>CS Intermediate Courses
>>CS Final Courses

>>For Foundation courses, the candidate must have passed his 12th class. This course is of 8 months.

>>Now for Intermediate course the candidate must have passed Foundation Course. This course is of 9 months.

>>Now for Final course the candidate must have cleared Intermediate course.

cs stands for company seceretory, its exam is conducted by institue of company seceratory of india,

this course can be joined agter class 12th by getting registered under icsi for cs foundation,

the steps for cs are

1.cs foundation
its exam is held two times in a year

2.cs executive
once you clear cs foundation you get entry to cs executive by registering under it, study material is provided by institute

after executive you have to go for a training of 15month under a professional company seceratory

3the third and final step
csprofessional
under it there are 3 groups to clear
once you clear these you are a company seceratory. all these take almost 4 year to be a cs

The duration of Company Secretary course is nearly three and half years.
To complete CS cxourse you need to complete the following three stages :
-->CS Foundation Course-8 Months
-->CS Intermediate Course-9 Months
After completing these two levels then you are eligible for the final CS course which is of 9 months course duration.
