As you have for the information regarding the income tax officer eligibility the eligibility needed are:

Eligibility:
The candidate must have a age limit of 18-25 yers.
There are certain upper age limit restrictions for SC/ST/VH and Ph candidates.
The candidates must have a degree from a recognized university.

There are certain physical standards that the candidate must also pass to become a income tax officer.

Physical standards:

For Inspector of Central Excise/Preventive Officer (Male):

Height 157.5 cms

Chest 81 cms (fully expanded with a minimum expansion of 5 cms)

Walking - 1600 metres in 15 minutes
Cycling - 8 Km in 30 minutes

For Inspector of Central Excise/Preventive Officer (Lady):

Height 152 cms

Weight 48 Kg

Walking - 1 km in 20 minutes
Cycling - 3 km in 2

After your 10th you have alot of options. mainly you Can choose any of the three paths:



1. Science stream:


this is the best path if you are technologically and scientifically oriented or wanna become doctor, scientist, engineer,etc..
you can later go for the bsc,b.tech,phd, navy,army and airforce along with all the courses of commerce and arts.


2. commerce:




if you want to be a businessman and a professional accounts then go for time commerce stream and then later with CA,BBA,ICWAI,Etc..



3. Arts stream:

you may apply for polytechnic courses after 10 class with 50%


for this you will have to give an entrance test and
can get admission in govt. and private polytechnics


Also after 10th you can go with the navy courses "


apply for the constable in police.

Also you can go for various computer courses like the DTP, Web designing, language,


So just decide what you want to and
then proceed as choosing the right stream is very important or

if you want to go for the courses after the diploma then you can go for the b.tech,
you know you need not to go for the entrance exam, and you can take admission in the second year directly on the basis of the percentage of the diploma.
you can also go for these following course like:-
IT course
java sun micro system
M.tech.
etc.
you can also go for the MCA and the MBA courses. you have to fight the CAT and the MAT exam for MBA.

you have a lot of options to opt with like you have a great chance to go into Space research organisation like
ISRO ,NASA if you're interested in them and these are the very tempting opportunities with this group..

there are diploma courses in engineering after 10th standard. There will be an entrance test for polytechnic. If you pass in the exam you will get seat according to your rank. There are many courses in diploma. Some of them are Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Mining Engineering, computer science engineering etc. Duration of course is 3 years. After diploma you can do b-tech by writing ECET exam.

if you have interest to go for job at very early age,,,,you can opt the above mentioned one

or else,,,,you should opt yourself in HSC because this education matters a lot for your engineering and medical entrance exams....

You can appear for civil service exams and TNPSC exams..if you satisfy the required eligibility criteria...
