Age Limit for JBT exam:
The age of the candidates as on 31.12.2001 must be between 17 to 28 years. The upper age limit shall be relaxable by five years in case of SC/ST/OBC/IRDP category candidates only. There will be no upper age limit in the case of ex-servicemen candidates, however this concession/relaxation of upper age limit will not be admissible to their wards/dependents. |

Hi dear,
The age limit shall be 17-28 years as on 31.12.2009 for all candidates. Relaxation in upper age limit shall be available as per the rules of the Government of Himachal Pradesh. The following conditions will also be applicable to the candidates of Two Years Course/Session 2009-2011:- 1. 90% attendance would be necessary in the JBT training course. 2. 45% will be the pass marks in JBT Examinations of the 1st Year and 2nd Year. 3. Merit and seniority will be on the basis of the marks secured in the JBT pass course. 4. In case the trainees take leave on medical grounds/maternity purpose then the training may be extended by the duration of leave taken. 5. During the training the candidates would not pursue any other Educational course/study either regular or through distance mode. 6. Since contractual appointment will be considered after passing of JBT course and subject to permission to fill up vacancies, hence, no bond will be executed to serve in the Education Department. 7. After successful completion of JBT Course as above conditions, the candidates are eligible for employment against vacant posts of JBT teacher in Elementary Education Department. Actual appointment will be based on vacancies and necessary approvals to fill the posts. As per present policy fresh appointments are being made on contract Thanks |

the age limit is 17 to 28years. relaxation of 3years for bc 5 years for sc/st there is no upper limit for ex servicemen candidates The subjects for the exam includes: i) Hindi – Marks 25 ii) English – Marks 25 iii) Numerical Ability – Marks 25 iv) General Awareness – Marks 25 |

Hi dear,
JBT exam is for Teacher Traning Courses after 12th class board.it is a 2 year duration course. The age limit for the course is 17th to 28th year. After completion of course you have great chaneces to get job in school as a post of teacher with handsome salary. Thanks |

Dear pal,
JBT is junior basic teaching course conducted for a duration of two years. The eligibility required for applying in the exam is the 10+2 exam.For non graduates the minimum mark required is 50% and for graduates it is 45%. The mark is relaxed to 35% for the reserved category people belonging to sc/st etc. AGE The applicant should have completed a age of 17 and must not have exceed 28 years of age for the all except the below categories. 1.5 years relaxation for reserved aspirants. 2. There is no age limit for Ex service men. And there is no special relaxation for their wards . The application can be downloaded from the website www.hpeducationboard.nic.in or the photocopy of the application from newspaper can be used. You need to attach a demand draft of rs.200. The filled form should be sent to Deputy secretary, H.P board of school education, Dharmasala-176700 |
