And before attempting the interview, focus on -Dressing ( Should be ironed and neatly tucked with formal dress) -Neatly shaved chin -Go though the company website for which you are going to attend for the interview and collect some information regarding the company which will be helpful for you to answer some sort of questions at the time of interview. -Inculcate optimistic behavior and be confident of yourselves -Don't try to bluff the interviewer. |

Re: How to prepare for campus placement?
Hi friend,
Basically a campus placement will have a first stage called aptitude test which you can answer only with constant practice and reading books with aptitude test. According to me the best book is the book written by R.S.Agarwal. Then group discussion for which you need more bravery to before others whether point is correct or wrong just talk. The next is personal interview which you will be asked questions about your subjects. Be clear about your answers and be clear about your strengths and weakness. |

Re: How to prepare for campus placement?
you have the campus recruitment in ur college. then see what are the profiles of the companies which come to ur college? For software companies, u need not worry, u have good percentage and ur anxiety shows how serious u r about ur career. Apart from this, if u have communication skills, it wud be enuff to sail thru them very easily.
If u also get the companies which offer positions like business analyst, financial analyst etc... then u need to show ur participation in the co- and extra- curricular activities. u have to prove ur leadership and management skills in the events u organise in the college and shud have gud analytical thinking. best of luck |

Re: How to prepare for campus placement?
Quote:
At first I want to say that getting jobs in campus Interviews are more easier than getting jobs through Off campus. So first of all Dont be nervous at all. Well there are some places where you have to prepare to crack the campus interviews. In a campus interview, genarally there are 3 rounds 1. Aptitude Test 2. Group Discussion 3. Technical Interview 4. HR Interview. 1. Aptitude Test To crack this you must read 1. Quantitative aptitude by RS Agarwal, This books are enough for cracking the aptitude test 2. Group Discussion Here the recruiters see the english spoken skill of the candidate along with how a candidate express there view, Your knowledge about the outside world etc etc. Here a group of candidates sits together and discuss about a topic in the front of the judges. For cracking this round, you must start following Newspapers regularly, you may join any spoken english institutes. Remember this is a very important round. Many students got eliminated in this round. 3. Technical Interview For cracking this round, you simply have to learn about your core subjects thoroughly. You have to make 2 or 3 subjects as your strong points, in which you can answer any questions. 4. HR INTERVIEW This round is the last round and I think that this is not a very tough round. To crack this round, you have to build good confidence upon you, good body language, spoken skills etc etc.. So Best Of Luck................ |

Re: How to prepare for campus placement?
Well dear for clearing the campus placements your English and Aptitude should be sound. You should know about important details of the company which is visiting your campus such as history, specialization etc. You should be confident enough to get past all the phases of selection for eg Aptitude, GD, and Interview etc. You should be clear with your basics and should not lie very often specially in your resume. You should be well aware how to tackle the questions. You can also take guidance from somewhere about skills for clearing interviews, GDs etc. Best of Luck.
