for any competition minimum 50% marks is required .but if there is any reserved category then you will get reservation as the government rule. and may in any college seat is available then you can apply for B.ED in that college. |

minimum required for B.ED is marks is 50% in graduation in any discipline.But if you belong to any reservation quota then you can got reservation and you can admission in that college.its depend on cut-off because every year cut-off is different if you across that cut-off then you got surely admission in any college.

The minimum percentage for the B.ed exam is 50% in the graduation. if you are belong to any reservation quota category then you get a relaxation in the percentage otherwise 50% min.

Hiiiiii,
Minimum 50 % aggregate percentage required in graduation for B.Ed. examination. But, If you have scored less than 50 % then you are not eligibile for B.Ed. examination. Good Luck |

Eligibility Conditions
Educational Eligibility Conditions for admission to the B.Ed Course 2011- 12 as notified by GGSIP University on its website on 01 Jan 2007 :- 1. For Graduates (a) Candidates having passed Bachelor’s degree in humanities and social sciences with a minimum of 50 % (fifty percent) marks in aggregate from a recognized University and having studied any one of the following subjects :- 1. English 2. Hindi 3. Sanskrit 4. Urdu 5. Mathematics 6.Civics / Political Science 7. Geography 8.History 9.Economics Note : (i) The candidate must have passed at least two subjects out of the list of the teaching subjects for graduates. These two subjects should be available as teaching subjects in the institute / college in which the candidate seeks to take admission. (ii) The candidate who has studied either Civics (Political Science ) or History or Geography or Economics will be eligible to take Social Sciences as one of the teaching subject. (iii) The second teaching subject can be chosen either from the main subjects or subsidiary subjects passed by the candidate at the graduation level or at 12th level. (b) Candidates having passed Bachelor’s degree in Science with a minimum of 50 % (fifty percent) marks in aggregate from a recognized University and having studied any one of the following subjects :- 1. Physics 2. Chemistry 3.Mathematics 4.Biology 5.Botany 6. Zoology 7.Life Science Note : (i) The candidate must have passed at least two subjects out of the list of the teaching subjects for graduates. These two subjects should be available as teaching subjects in the institute / college in which the candidate seeks to take admission. (ii) The candidate who has passed a paper either in Physics or Chemistry or Biology or Botany or Zoology or Life Science will be eligible to take Integrated Science as one of the teaching subjects. (iii) The second teaching subject can be chosen either from the main subjects or subsidiary subjects passed by the candidate at the graduation level or at 12th level. (c) However, the candidates having done B.Com (Pass/Hons), Bachelor of Journalism (Mass Communication), BBA, BA (Vocational) are not eligible for the B.Ed programme. If a candidate having any of these degrees applies for Common Entrance Test for B.Ed Programme, he/ she will not be allowed to appear in the test and if by default, he or she appears in the test, the admission will not be granted to such a candidate. As per GGSIP University rules widows / war widows/ wards of defence personnel will be allowed 5% relaxation of marks in the minimum eligibility requirement mentioned above. |

Eligibility for admission to B.Ed. courses
The eligibility is 45 per cent marks in BA/B.Sc. in aggregate for Parts I, II, and III. SC/ST students require only a pass mark. SEBC and OEC categories whose annual income is up to Rs. 2.5 lakhs will be given 3 per cent and 5 per cent concession in aggregate marks respectively. There is no upper age limit for admission. The optional subject for the B.Ed. course should be the same as the one which student had selected as main subject for graduation. Eligibility required of different optional subjects is as follows: B.Ed. English: BA Degree in English Language and literature/Functional English with 45 per cent marks in aggregate or BA/B.Sc. with 50 per cent marks for part I English and not less than 50 per cent marks for Master's Degree in English Language and Literature. B.Ed. Malayalam: BA Degree in Malayalam Language and Literature with 45 per cent marks in aggregate or BA/B.Sc. with 50 per cent marks for Part II Malayalam and not less than 50 per cent marks for Master's Degree in Malayalam Language and Literature. B.Ed. Hindi: BA in Hindi with 45 per cent marks or BA/B.Sc. with 50 per cent marks for Part II Hindi and not less than 50 per cent marks for Master's Degree in Hindi Language and Literature. B.Ed. Arabic: BA in Arabic language and literature with 45 per cent marks in aggregate or BA/B.Sc. with 50 per cent marks for Part II Arabic and not less than 50 per cent marks for Master's Degree in Arabic Language Literature. B.Ed. Tamil: BA in Tamil with 45 per cent, marks or BA/B.Sc. with 50 per cent mark for Part II Tamil and not less than 50 per cent marks for Master's Degree in Tamil Language and Literature. B.Ed. Sanskrit: BA in Sanskrit Language and Literature with 45 per cent marks in aggregate or BA/B.Sc. with 50 per cent marks for Part II Sanskrit and not less than 50 per cent marks for Master's Degree in Sanskrit Language and Literature. B.Ed. Urdu: BA in Urdu Languages and Literature with 45 per cent marks in aggregate or BA/B.Sc. with 50 per cent, marks for Part II Urdu and not less than 50 per cent marks for Master's Degree in Urdu Language and Literature. B.Ed. Mathematics: B.Sc. in Mathematics/Statistics/Applied Statistics as main with 45 per cent marks in aggregate and students of Statistics/Applied Statistics should have studied mathematics as one of the subjects. B.Ed. Physical Science: B.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry/Polymer Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry/B.Sc. Geology/B.Sc. Petrochemicals/B.Sc. Biochemistry main with 45 per cent marks in aggregate. B.Ed. Natural Science: B.Sc. in Botany/Zoology B.Sc. Biochemistry/B.Sc. Plant Sciences/ B.Sc. Home Science/with Zoology & Botany as subsidiary/Aquaculture with Biochemistry and Zoology as Subsidiaries with 45 per cent marks in aggregate. B.Ed. Social Science: BA in History/Arabic and Islamic History main with 45 per cent marks in aggregate/BA Geography/Politics/Economics/Sociology/Psychology/ Philosophy/West Asian studies under part III with 45 per cent marks in aggregate. B.Ed. Geography: Bachelor's Degree with geography as main subject under Part III with 45 per cent marks in aggregate. B.Ed. Commerce: M.Com. with not less than 45 per cent marks alone are eligible. B.Ed. Home Science: B.Sc. Home Science with not less than 45 per cent marks. B.Ed. Computer Science: MCA/M.Sc. Computer Science/M.Sc. Electronics with minimum 45 per cent marks. |

The minimum percentage of graduation required for b.ed is 50% for general caste. Sc/st/obc candidate required with 45% in graduation.

If you are from reserved class then you will get admission in b.ed college from 47% in graduation. General class candidate are required with 50% in gradution.
