B Ed is basically an undergraduate course, on completion of which, the candidate can hold the post of a teacher. This course prepares the candidates with the proper training of teaching at schools and colleges.  This course is apt for the candidates who are interested in pursuing teaching as their career choice. B Ed degree course is a must for teaching in high schools as well as in higher primary schools. The Maulana Azad Centre for Elementary and Social Education (MACESE) has made this concept of the course and it was launched in the year 1994-95.
