The admission in these colleges for undergraduate programme are on the basis of available seats and merit .

Being a student from a commerce background there are lots of good options for you. You may go for B.Com, BBA, BCA and professional courses like CA.
You have scored well in accounts which means you are good at it and hence I would suggest you to pusue CA along with B.com to have better prospect in future.

After completing your 12th examination you have many choices for different courses, after completing your 12th with commerce you can eligible for
1. CA(Chartered Accountants)
2. CS(Company secretaries)
3. ICWA(Indian cost and work accountants)
4. BCA(Bachelor of computer applications)
5. BBA(Bachelor of Business Administration).
6. Hotel management.

Generally the students who have finished their 12th in commerce stream would join B.COM but there are lots of option like B.B.A,B.C.A,B.B.M,C.A,ICWAI.
It is better for you to do B.COM along with C.A.

hello sir! i passed my 12 board in 2010 with 79.2 % (science stream) ,i dropped an year to get into IIT.it fascinated me.but again i cudnt clear it.my maths is strong.bt nw i have realised that i dont want to get into engineering.i really want to study economics.(it was really tough for me to accept this).it has already become too late to apply.i have left universities lyk BHU etc. i have applied for st. xaviers college,bt i think its too hard for me to get into admission into such a reputed college.please tell me some more options. also im ready to go with engineering(if a good college in mumbai),only if i dont get economics frm a good college.please tell me some other govt colleges in maharashtra where i can apply.thanks.

i have 46% in XII ( commerce) . which are the colleges i can apply for BMS.

There are a lot of courses you can do,
like, B.Com, BBA, BBI, BAF, BFM, BBM, BHM,CA etc, the list is too long.

Now as you said that you want to study in Mumbai only, i will advice you to check out HR college of commerce and economice.

It has BFM and BAF courses, which really have a wide scope in future.

One more thing, if you want admission in Mumbai, then be quick as the admissions are going to start within 1 or two days.

You can also go for CA [Chartered Accountant], for which, you have to register yourself before the month of october, then you will appear in CPT exam in december.

There are some collees which offers dual specialisation in BBA [Finance, I.T, HR, etc], you can apply for them as it helps you in future, if your ultimate goal is to do MBA.

So, choose wisely, and best of luck

there s no enterance exame n u cn join after 12th which s 2 n half yr courses.

you can do any course which are given below:

1) B.Com then M.Com

2) B.Com then MBA

3) CA

4) CS

5) BBA then MBA

Maine 2005 ke saal mai apna 12th commerce (Rajkot Gujarat) clear kiya uske baad finincial weak hone ke karan maine apni padhaee chhod di aur mai surat aaya. uske baad maine tally accounting ka course karke naukri start kardi lekin ab me padhai ke liye thode bahut paise kharch kar shakta hu mai accounting ke field mai aage badhna chahta hu to sir maine padhai chhod di uske 5 ya 6 saal ho gaye to kya mai ab padh sakta hu muje accounting field me aage ka raah dikhaye mai apni naukri ke sath aage badhna chahta hu muje please koi upay bataye.
