Just after completing high school examination, indian army entrance scheme is NDA (national defence academy), but the exam is only for male cadets.
Don't worry, during graduation you will have opportunities to get in indian air force via three schemes-
*UES- university entry scheme.
*SSC- short service commission.
*CDS-combined defence services.
Generally there are three branches in air force-
1. Flying branch
2. Technical branch.
3. Ground duty branch.
* For flying branch- CDS exam, NCC special entry SSC (only for 14yr./maths background)
Age limit-19-23yr.
* For Technical branch-direct entry scheme, UES. Age limit-18-28yr.

Although via appearing in CDS, you can apply one among the three disciplene i.e. Air, defence and navy.
CDS conducted by UPSC, twice in a year, CDS 1st in mid february and CDS 2nd in september.

Eligibility
One should be below 16-19 years of age.
one has to complete his 10+2.
Eligibility by NDA exam by UPSC and some interview.

sorry to say, you daughter can't join in NDA .

as first criteria is only Indian nationalities boy are allow for the NDA exam.

minimum age limit to attain in NDA exam is 16.5-19 year.

apart from that 12th science with PCM combination is required.

so daughter can't join in NDA.

If you go for a Msc physics from a reputed institute then If you go for a Msc physics from a reputed institute then you will have lot of job options.After m.sc physics you can go in research field. You would be eligible for NET exam. After Msc Physics you easily get a good job and you have to tried for research.,you can go in the field of research and development,job opportunities in networking and many other companies are there.

FRIEND,

Yes you are eligible for the INDIAN NAVY because you are in the SCIENCE SECTION.

You can appear for the NDA exam which is conducted by UPSC every year twice in the month of April and November.

You should go to the Post office to buy the application form or you can just fill the application form online on the website www.upsconline.nic.in.

There are some educational qualification or Age criteria that you must qualify and that is:

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE NDA EXAM IS:

1)You should be a citizen of INDIA.

2)You should have done your 12th class from a recognized board.

3)A student appearing for the 12th class exams is also eligible to appear for the exams.

4)Your age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.

5)You should be physically fit.

6)You must be a male and unmarried candidate.

7)If you wanted to join INDIAN NAVY or INDIA AIR FORCE then you can only apply for it if you have taken PHYSICS and MATHEMATICS as subjects in 11th and 12th class.

THE PATTERN OF THE EXAM IS:
