The eligibility criteria for IIT-JEE is as follow;

Marks in 12th: Minimum 60% i.e. 60% or more
Year of qualifying examination: If you wish to appear in JEE-2012 then you
should have passed 12th in 2011 or you should be appearing boards in 2012.

If you fulfill all the criteria then you are eligible for the IIT-JEE 2012.

yes, you are eligible for the exam.....

eligibility for IITJEE is;
-you should be 12th with minimum 60% marks in PCM stream
-your age should not be more than 25years
-you can only apply for two consecutive appearing year

as you got 60% marks in you 12th so you are eligible for the exam

the age limit should not exceed 25 yrs.

You did not mentioned your marks in PCM.
You must have minimum 50% marks in your Physics,Chemistry and Math.

Only 12th standard pursuing students can appear for this examination.

So,

Its damm confusing!
Some say minimum 60% in 12std & some say 60% in pcm !!
In jee broucher its mentioned only as in QE 10 2 in aggregate 60% !!
