you see, if you are interested to work with your electronics & communication field then you must do mtech.

specially if you want to do research oriented jobs, then MTech is compulsary.

but if you are not interested to work in your engineering field, then it is essential to do MBA.

but one things you shoud remember, for getting promotion in company, MBA is essentially required.

private:-TCS,INFOCYS,WIPRO these come on campus
you should also apply for government jobs like
BHEL,BSNL,DRDO,IOCL,SAIL,ONGC,NTPC,NPCIL
if then also you are not geting good job then go for M.TECH
through GATE

this year i failed to apply for gate due to my devoid in general things
even i am in dilema where to go
i am interested in inventions and i suck at programming
so help me which one to choose
and are there any chances since i missed the gate this year
and let me know about financial things too i mean what amount it takes
please help me out

dear student,
You have plenty of lines open to you...
you can get jobs in IT sector, core ECE sectors Gov. sectors.....
but if you cant get jobs you can do M.TECH in telecom which will be very much helpful for getting jobs.
You can also do MBA in HR which can also help you a lot...
So no need to worry, there are plenty of oppurtunities...
so now study hard and choose your way.........

There is no need you to worry about the GATE exam now cause you are now in 3rd year only... you have one yr to prepare yourself and attend the GATE exam by next year cause GATE exam needs a lot of preparation...as you said you are intrested in inventions just try to go for some research oriented companies after your B.Tech or after doing PG cause now research area is lot in demand and you have plenty of options being in ECE... Telecommunication is one of the vast area which is widely growing which is highly related with the ECE stream so try to study well get some good score in the final year and am sure you will end up in a good company from your college itself... just keep one thing in mind when you come for career option or studies just try to do what you interested in cause that helps you to shine in your area in future...

Both streams have good value in future... but as you are in ECE dept. you have much good future if you go for M.Tech than MBA cause it helps in your career growth... and at the end of the day its your intrest my friend if you feel like you have to stay in your core stream just go for M.Tech course if not you feel going for some business oriented area go for MBA.. the choice is yours......

there are many career you can choose from it or you can go for higher studies which will give you more options.

Soon after the completion of your B.Tech in ECE, decide yourself whether you have to go for further studies or job.

My suggestion is to go for further studies especially M.Tech with Electrons related specialization. If you not have interested in M.Tech then MBA is a very good option. MBA is having good demand in the recent days.

If you want to enter the corporate market, then i would suggest you three options.

1)Try to get place in electronic companies like
-Nokia
-LG
-General Electric (GE) etc.

2)Study at least 5 technical languages and try to get place in software company.

3)Simply get your degree and go to a college where vacancy for lecturers is there.

Remember the recruitment for engineers is high only when they are freshers category. The freshers qualification with you only for the 6 months after the completion of your engineering.

Dear friend.
Ece is the best emerging career option for engineers.
Although in india it has low scope as only there are few electronics devices manufacturing companies in india.
But in foriegn it has vast scope, especially in those countries who are very technically developed like japan, china.

If u think to continue your study in technology then m.tech in robotics is the best option for you.

can i do gniit after btech?

i think u should wash your face first
after that go to sleep
then after 2 or 3 hours think about bsnl(jto) or prepare for gate exam

after ECE graduation there are four options for you:

1.job in software field as maximum students do.

2. do MTech/MS in intrested stream.

3. do MBA

4. job in core branch of yours in this you have two options
a. govt sectors like isro/drdo/barc/bel
b. private sectors kpit/TI/sankalp semiconductors

and after doing a diploma course in any one-

embedded systems
VLSI
PLC
PCB Designing
will make your path easy for recruitment in private sectors

there is nothing to worry!!!

want to job after graduation :

~ your branch is decent to have an offer of job as there is great demand in companies for core branches ..

~ you can be offered job's regarding your branch after 6th sam if your college organises on-campus placements but if not than you can apply placements papers in companies such as HCL , TATA , INFOSYS , CTS ,etc ..

wan't to go for higher studies :

there are many master courses which are available in the college world .
you can pursue master courses such as MBA , M.Tech ...

~MBA: for mba you can appear in the test such as CAT for IIM's and JMET for IIT's as they are the best places for it . The salary package by pursuing it may be increased to 80,000 to 1 lac ....

~M.Tech: you can get admission into some world renowned colleges such as IIT's and bits by appearing in the exam called GATE which is for the admissions into master degrees .

you can visit http://www.iitk.ac.in for details regarding JMET and GATE ...

so , you can elect any one from the above depending upon your interest in studies. be decisive and go for the best as i cannot make your interest , only thing that i can do is to give guidance to your interest .

You are doing B.Tech from Electronics and Communication which is very good for your future career because in now a days electronics student demand is very high in job sector in many multinational companies and in many companies which are very reputed companies such as NOKIA, AIRCEL, AIRTEL, TCS. And in these companies you will get job easily and you also got satisfied salary with many good facilities.

So my suggestion to you that you should go to these companies for a job and make your career bright and full of happiness....
