No, it's not possible to go for NDA after 10th. You must have inter with PCM background to get eligible in all wings(3wings) in NDA.

Also you must have the physical requirements for NDA like mentioned below.

The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms. (162.5 cms for Air Force)

A ± 10% (A ± 6 Kg for Navy) departure from the average weight given in the table 1 above is to be considered within normal limit. However, in individuals with heavy bones and broad build as well as individuals with thin but otherwise healthy this may be relaxed to some extent on merit.

Note 1 : Height relaxable upto 2.5 cm (5 cm. for Navy) may be allowed where the Medical Board certifies that the candidate is likely to grow and come up to the required standard on completion of his training.

Note 2 : To meet special requirement as a pilot in the Air Force the acceptable measurements of leg length, thigh length and sitting height will be as under :–

Leg Length 99.00cms. 120.00 cms.
Sitting Height 81.50cms. 96. 00 cms

Eligibility for NDA:

To apply for Army Wings, you have to complete your 12th in any discipline form a recognised Board.

To apply for Naval and Air Force Wings, you have to complete your 12th with Maths and Physics as a compulsory Subjects.

Your age must be between 16.5 to 19years. You should be Unmarried male.

You cannot apply for the NDA exam right now because you can only apply for the exam only after finishing your 12th exam as the eligibility criteria says.

Eligibility criteria says that only unmarried male candidates who are born not before 2nd July 1993 and not later than 1st January 1996.

For Army Wing of NDA:

The candidate must have passed his +2 with (10th +2) pattern by the school education.

For Air force and Naval wings of NDA:

Age limit for NDA exam is 16.5 to 19 years that means the candidate born not earlier than 2nd July , 1994 and not later than 1st January , 1997 are eligible to apply . So according to the NDA notification you are not eligible to apply for this examination . There is no chances for to apply for NDA Examination

Sorry to say that you are not eligible for the NDA examination.

NDA examination is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) twice every year in the months of April and August.

NDA examination is conducted for these three wings mentioned as below:-

* Indian Army.

* Indian Navy.

* Indian Air Force.

The selection procedure for the NDA examination is mentioned as below:-

After 12th you can apply for NDA exam.

Your age is passed for NDA now prepare for CDS exam which is also same as NDA.

Following are the eligibility criteria for NDA exam

Applicant must be Indian citizen.
Applicant's date of birth should fall between 02 July 1995 and 01 January 1998 both dates are included.
For date of birth proof, UPSC will consider matriculation certificate only.

So if your date of birth is not in this range, inspite of being in 16.5 to 19 year age, you are not eligible.
I know its not justifiable but in the end, they have the decision making authority.

Dear NDA aspirant,

You are not eligible for NDA Exam, or National Defence Academy Exam.

According to latest notification released by UPSC for NDA Exam,

>> Only Unmarried Male Candidates can apply for this exam.

>> Age of the candidate must lie between 16.5 to 19 years or you must have born between 02-01-95 and 01-07-1998.

>> You must be 10+2 passed/appearing from any stream.

Note that, if you don't have Physics and Mathematics in 10+2, then you are allowed to apply for Army wing of NDA only.

As your DOB is 18-12-91, so you cannot appear for NDA Exam.

So, better you start preparing for CDS Exam and join any Bachelor Course to be eligible for CDS Exam.

CDS stands for Combined Defence Services conducted by UPSC Exam.

Candidates will have to pass three stages for qualifying NDA Exam i.e.

>> Written Test

>> SSB Interview

i am sorry to say you are not eligible for nda exams for 2014 nda exams, because you have crossed the upper age limit for nda i.e 19 years
