sir/madam what is the acceptable and average GRE and tofel scores for PHD in usa

Hi,

I have done Masters of Computer Applications and I am working as a Software Engineer with 4 years of experience. I am looking to do an advanced degree program in computers from U.S which can fetch me a job directly in U.S itself. I have come to know that one can do Ph.D if you done your masters. Can you pls tell what are the proespects after doing a Ph.D froma U.S. university. Firstly, can you pls confirm that does any U.S university provide a Ph.D degree with majors in Computers.

Also, I went through this website : http://www.indobase.com/study-abroad/countries/usa/phd-in-usa.html which says that The annual expenses of most Ph.D. students are about $28,000-$40,000 per year which is quite high for Indian students.

Can u pls suggest the best degree program in Computers which will be beneficial in getting a job in U.S. and the best possible way to get admission there. I would appreciate if you can mail me on my personal email id.

I would like to know one thing pls tell it:
Today i gave revised gre test and i got the following score range,
Verbal: 290-390
Quant: 580-680
I am unable to know, how this range is follow to calculate gre score and as my final score came in november then that final score will lead to down or in upward? and how total score is calculted from this above range and should i retake for the test or this score is suffient for getting admission in phd program in electrical or renewable energy filed?
pls tell about how to look the score and about test :)

Of course if you want to join the universities on UK for Ph.D ,you must have to go through GRE and TOEFL exam .
The TOEFL exam is conducted for those whose native language is not English.
The Graduate Record Examination is the entrance test to get admission to the universities of UK pulse other English speaking countries .
