In IIT Madras there are without HTTA seats so after getting this seats we got any scholarship or not.....??

iam qualified in gate with 24.67 with sc wheter iam getting stipend or not?

since i belong to SC i got 18 marks out of 100 & gate score of 209 & overall rank of 36258.will i be able to get GATE stipend amount?if means what ll be the amount?then what is the procedure to get the amount since i am pursuing my M.E first year in a government college.

i got 22.33 marks in gate exam & this is valid score then i ask u can their r stipend per month & scholarship is provide separately according to caste category.
Because i take admission pay fees Rs. 80000 per year & they told me you get stipend 8000 per month that is right amount for stipend

The gate performance of the candidate will be considered for admission,if the candidate is to be selected through interview for post graduate programmes,minimum 70 % weightage is given to gate performance and remaining weightage is given based on the interview..
minimum every gate qualified student shall get 8000/-per month.students who clear the GATE exam will be offered by the scholarship of amount 8000-12000/- by the govt.GATE plays very important role ,so clear the GATE exam with full of hard work,because GATE will open each and every gate for you for your secure future.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering(GATE) is an national level or all-India examination conducted jointly by one Indian Institute of Science (IISc)and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), as well as it is one of the best post-graduate entrance exam of engineering for the master degree .

The GATE exam will lead you to the specialization for Ph.D,R & D field.

Scholarship:
As per Govt. rule after achieving the GATE valid score i.e. minimum 90 percentile, you will be able to take admission in Govt. Colleges for the master degree.

After having admission you will paid a scholarship of Rs.8000/- per month by the Government of India.The scholarship is paid for the entire 18 months of master degree.

It may be increased according to your project ,so the scholarship may be up to Rs.12,000/- per month.

GATE stipend become Rs.8000/- to Rs.14000/- per month.

it's vary according to your institution and your project. but you will get atleast Rs.8000/-
you may get more than Rs.14000/- if your project is very costly and your project guide helps you to get the scholarship.GATE scholarship/stipend amount is given on the basis of GATE score.If you got 25 marks in GATE then you will be eligible for GATE scholarship.As per Ministry of Human and resourse development the amount of stipend vary from 8000-14000 rs.

First of all let me congratulate you on your GATE qualification. This is a thing that is achieved by quite a few. You are among them. Now let me tell you that you will get Rs.8000 per month for your GATE scholarship. This is the amount right now. It has not been increased. Also if your college is not AICTE approved(does not matter it is government approved or not), then you will not be liable for the scholarship. So please verify this thing about your college. If these things are set, then you will have to fill up the form and submit your score along with it. After that from the very next month you will get your scholarship.

Suppose you got a seat in IITs then you will get 16000 to 12000 per month.For NITs 12000 per month and 8000 for universities and private colleges.Once you select in IIT and extra performance in interview then qualify for the merit scholarship.So this is very good opportunity for intelligent students.
