Sir, I am a student of B Tech (Computer Science) 2nd year and also a girl and I have not any NCC certificate. But I want to join in Indian Army as an Officer and intimate what procedure to be taken so that I easily join in Indian Army.

There are chances for you to get into Indian Army after MCA as you have chances of writing NDA,CDS.

NDA - National Defence Academy

CDS - Combined Defence Service

NDA and CDS are two defence service exams and they are conducted by UPSC ever year twice.

For Indian Army in NDA:

-> Candidate must be a citizen of India.

-> Candidate must be a unmarried male candidate.

-> Candidate must have a age limit of 16 1/2-19 years.

-> Candidates must have passed +2 from a recognized board.

-> Candidate must be physically fit while appearing for the NDA exam.

For Indian Military Academy in CDS:

-> Candidate must be a citizen of India.

-> Candidate must be a unmarried male candidate.

-> Candidate must have a age limit of 19-24 years.

-> Candidates must have passed their graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.

-> Candidate must be physically fit while appearing for the NDA exam.

As you have your post graduation in MCA which is enough regarding the education qualification,check the age limits and other details whether you satisfy them to apply for these exams.

How to entrance CDS

Hai,
Choosing career in Indian Army is good thing as
far as concerned. These people are an important
part of the Indian Defence. They protect our
country from foreign attacks. The candidates
who have passed the 12th can join in Indian
Army. The candidates passed in 10+2 in science subjects can join NDA and the graduate
candidates can apply for IMA. An exam is
conducted by UPSC for joining NDA. The test
includes a written test, physical test and medical
test. There will be group tests and a personal
interview too. The training will be given after qualifying all this. However since it’s been 4
years you have crossed the age limit required.

In order to join the Indian army you need to
have the following qualifications:

1.) 10+2 pass candidates with physics ,
chemistry , maths with a minimum of 55-60%
marks.

2.) Only unmarried male candidates are allowed.

3.) Age limitation is between 16.5 -19 years.

4.) Minimum height should be 157.5 cm with 5
cm chest expansion.
